The project is located on BLM administered lands approximately 14 miles northwest of Beryl, Utah in Iron County. Elevation of Pace spring is approximately 6,130 feet The work location is shown on the project area reference map attached at the end of this document. Access to the site: Access onto the project site is provided by a combination of paved highways and county dirt surface roads and un-improved two-track roads. Heavy equipment will most likely have to be walked into the job site. Haulers and material may also have to be staged off the county road and be hauled into the job site. It is recommended contractors visit the area prior to bidding to get familiar with the roads. Four (4) wheel drive vehicles are recommended in and around the project area. It will be the contractor's responsibility to get the equipment and supplies to the work site. Question Deadline 10/17/2023 at 10:00 AM MT Project Performance Time: October 15 2023 - December 31 2023 or 60 calendar days from official Notice to-Proceed (NTP) There will be no site visit for this contract. While there is not going to be a site visit for this contract it is strongly recommended that each potential bidder ensure that he/she has a complete understanding of the requirements of this project. Bidders are urged to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.
