Please complete the following before returning your quote: 1. Complete blocks 11, 13, 14, 15, and 16 on the top page of the RFQ 2. Complete Attachment 4 (Price/Cost Breakdown) 3. Complete Attachment 5 (Contractor Past ) 4. The project is to provide all design and construction services necessary to improve the landscaping of the land around building V4114, Key West Navy Lodge. The of this project is $33,000.00 - $34,500.00 The anticipated completion time of this project is 60 days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). The Landscape surrounding building V-4114 is approximately 12,400 square yard of mostly grass, shrubs, brushes and trees. The yard currently does not have a sprinkler system to water the grass. The driveway and parking is asphalt; the sidewalk is concrete and there is a total area of 50 square yards of mulch in the front and sides around the perimeter of the building. The Contractor shall provide detailed design showing grass (seeding) area; shrubs, brushes/flowering plants and their arrangements; sidewalk/driveway and areas for mulching. The design layout must show attachment and of sprinkler system to the building water supply line and the distribution ends of the sprinkler system. The design must be presented in pdf format on a standard ANSI D (34 x 22) sheet with a plant list and legend of landscaping. The Contractor shall remove and dispose of all dead shrubs, brushes and trim dead branches of trees from landscape area enclosed in boundary indicated on the attached diagram (Attachment C). If there is any significant damage to the any parts of the exterior of building V4114 due to work on this project, the contractor shall notify the POC for an immediate review of the damaged component(s). Contractor shall submit pricing for replacement of component(s) as directed by the POC. During the removal process, contractor shall provide temporary protection as required for windows, doors, frames, plaster walls, ceilings, handrails, railings, paint finish, equipment, landscaping, turf, etc. Contractor shall repair or replace any damaged materials or equipment. The Contractor shall replace all dead shrubs, brushes and trees that are removed in accordance with Florida building code regulations and with subsections and associated tables. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS Work hours Monday Friday: 0700-1600 hrs. Coordinate work hours with the POC, Maria Herrera, (305) 292-7556. Weekend and overtime work must be approved in advance by the POC. Contractor shall keep the POC updated on the status and progress of the work and inform the POC of projected completion. The Navy Lodge will be in full operation during this project. The contractor shall co-ordinate the work activities and work areas closely with the POC to avoid disruption of the guests. Contractor shall provide barricades as required to isolate the work areas from guest traffic. Contractor shall provide a written Safety Plan SOP (standard operating procedure) for Risk Assessment which addresses personal protection equipment, any hazardous material to be used on the jobsite, control measures for safety, etc. Safety Plan is to be submitted to the Contract Officer. A Notice to Proceed (NTP) cannot be issued until the Safety Plan is accepted. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
