The Work consists of the construction of eleven backflow prevention assemblies at six sites on existing District water and fire services. The work also includes demolition of existing AC pavement, curb, and landscaping, removal of existing detector check valves, vault and piping abandonments, and restoration of existing above grade improvements and repair of irrigation facilities as required. The Site of the Work includes eleven separate sites located in the City of Las Vegas, including 1399 North Rainbow Boulevard (two sites), 1881 North Decatur Boulevard, 6666 Washington Avenue (four sites), 1900 North Jones Boulevard, 1201 South Jones Boulevard (two sites), 6150 Transverse Drive, and 6160 Transverse Drive. Engineer's estimate: $1,599,800 Question Deadline 11/01/2023 at 10:00 AM PT The Contractor will be required to furnish a Construction Performance Bond and a Construction Payment Bond as security for faithful performance and payment of all bills and obligations arising from the performance of the Contract the Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, including, without limitation, the right to reject any or all nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional Bids, and to reject the Bid of any Bidder if Owner believes that it would not be in the best interest of Owner to make an award to that Bidder. Bidder and all its Subcontractors must be appropriately licensed in the State of Nevada in accordance with applicable state law. In addition, prior to applying for a license, a corporation must be registered with the Nevada Secretary of State. The Nevada State Contractors Board (NSCB) indicates that the licensing process can take 90 Days or more. In the event of joint ventures, each venture partner must be licensed, and unless each joint venture has an unlimited license, the joint venturer must have an additional license for acting in the capacity of such joint venture. Contact the NSCB for additional requirements for joint venture licensing.
