The Project consists of furnishing all labor, equipment and materials (except as otherwise specified), and performing all work necessary for the construction of Preston Road/Prosper Trail Dual Left Turn Lanes (2121-ST) and Coit Road/US380 Southbound dual Left Turns (2207-ST). Questions and Requests for Clarification: Questions and requests for clarifications in regards to this proposal should be submitted in writing through IonWave.net, the Town's e-procurement system, or emailed directly to Jay Carter, NIGP-CPP, CPPB, C.P.M., Purchasing Manager, at jcarter@prospertx.gov. The deadline for receipt of questions and requests for clarifications is 12:00 P.M. on Tuesday, October 30, 2023. After that day and time, no further questions or requests for clarifications will be accepted or answered by the Engineer or Town. Each proposal submitted shall be accompanied by a cashier's check in the amount of 5% of the maximum amount proposed, payable without recourse to the Town of Prosper, or a Bid Bond in the same amount from a reliable surety company as a guarantee that, if awarded the contract, the successful Contractor will execute a Construction Agreement with the Town, including all required bonds and other documents. The successful Contractor shall furnish a Performance Bond in the amount of 115% of the contract amount, and a Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract amount, as well as evidence of all required insurance coverage within ten (10) calendar days of notice of award. The successful Contractor shall also furnish a Maintenance Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract amount covering defects of material and workmanship for two calendar years following the Town's approval and acceptance of the construction. An approved surety company, licensed in the State of Texas, shall issue all bonds in accordance with Texas law.
