Commercial General Liability, Business Automobile Liability, and Worker's Compensation: The Contractor shall purchase from and maintain, in a company or companies lawfully authorized to do business in South Carolina, such insurance as will protect Contractor from claims set forth below, which may arise out of or result from Contractor's operations and completed operations under the Contract and for which the Contractor may be legally liable, whether such operations be by the Contractor or by a subcontractor or by anyone directly or indirectly employed by any of them, or by anyone for whose acts any of them may be liable If this box is checked, prior to beginning work, the Contractor shall deliver to the Agency a Performance Bond and a Labor & Material Payment Bond. Each bond shall be in the amount of 100% of the Contract Sum. The Contractor's Performance Bond shall be in the form of the SE-355, Performance Bond, and the Labor & Material Payment Bond shall be in the form of the SE-357, Labor & Material Payment Bond. The surety company providing the Bonds shall have, at a minimum, a "Best Rating" of "A" as stated in the most current publication of "Best's Key Rating Guide, Property - Casualty." Contractor's failure to provide bonds as herein required shall be an event of default justifying the Agency, in its sole discretion, in terminating this Contract for cause Construction Cost Range: $70,000 - $80,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
