The State University Construction Fund (SUCF) is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from consultants to provide design and construction administration services for the Rehabilitate High Temperature Hot Water Generators - Central Heating Plant project at the State University of New York College at Purchase. Questions regarding this opportunity should only be emailed to SUCF.ConsultantProcurement@suny.edu. The deadline to submit questions is October 20, 2023, at 1:00 pm. The Fund will issue answers via email (using email addresses supplied at registration) as soon as they become available, usually within 2-3 business days. Any questions regarding this RFQ should be emailed to SUCF.ConsultantProcurement@suny.edu. For questions related to M/WBE SDVOB, please email SUCF.OpportunityAdmin@suny.edu The Project will retube three High Temperature Hot Water (HTHW) generators (boilers) at the Central Heating Plant. The Central Heating Plant, constructed in 1972, is a 21,357 GSF, one-story building that houses three HTHW generators that serve as the primary heat source for the entire Campus. All three generators are original. The tubes in generators #1 and #3 have both failed. The smaller Generator #2 is still in operation but is the same age as #1 and #3 and is not sufficient to heat the campus. All three generators require retubing. The Project includes the retubing of generators #1, #2, and #3 as well as upgrading the current water treatment service. The construction value is estimated at approximately $9,302,000.
