Northern Kentucky University is accepting bids to establish multiple price contracts from: o General Contractors o MEP Contractors o Structural Repair Contractors o Concrete Contractors o Other Contractors interested in doing JOC work, general repairs, renovation and construction work on NKU facilities. Contractors shall be capable of providing qualified, skilled and licensed tradesmen as may be required by individual jobs. All jobs are to include, but are not to, the Contractor acquiring any necessary permits, inspections, and bonds when required. Some JOC work may be day-to-day and preventative work needed to supplement NKU staffing in various trade areas. The contract resulting from this solicitation shall begin with its , be effective for one year after its inception, and may be renewed by mutual agreement by the University and the contractor for additional periods. The University reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities or technicalities, and to clarify any ambiguities in bids. In case of error in extension or prices or other errors in calculation, the unit price shall govern. Further, the University reserves the right to make a , split awards, multiple awards or no award, whichever is in the best interest of the University. 100% Payment and Bonds will be required for work arising from this ITB that is estimated to cost over $40,000.
