The project involves the demolition of a structures located at 623 Caspian Avenue, 109 N. Maryland Avenue, 111 N. Maryland Avenue, 113 N. Maryland Avenue, 928 Arctic Avenue, and 617 Wabash Avenue. Each bid when submitted shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond drawn to the order of the Atlantic County Improvement Authority, on the form furnished with the Bid Forms and other Contract Documents, for a sum of ten (10) percent of the total bid amount (said Bid Bond not to exceed $20,000). Each bid shall also be accompanied by such other documents and information as are required by the Bid Documents. Bids shall be on a total lump sum basis for the base contract as listed in the Form of Proposal listed on Page C-1 of the Project Manual. Bidders are required to comply with the laws and regulations of the State of New Jersey pertaining to construction projects, including, but not limited to the following: New Jersey Public Law 1975, c.127, Law Against Discrimination; New Jersey Public Law 1977. c.33, An Act Requiring the Reporting of the Names and Addresses of Shareholders or Partners owning over Ten Percent (10%) of an Enterprise; New Jersey Public Law 1963, c.150, Prevailing Wage Act; P.L. 2004, c. 57; N.J.S.A 19:44 A-20.4 et. seq., (New Jersey Local Unit Pay to Play Law); and all amendments thereof. Bidders must submit with their bids the non-collusion affidavit contained in the contract documents. The bidders/offerors must submit documentary evidence of minority and women business enterprises who have been contacted and to whom commitments have been made. Documentation of such solicitations and commitments shall be submitted concurrently with the bid. The provisions of the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act are requirements of this project. The Atlantic County Improvement Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
