The intent of this bid is to establish a contract between the Board and bidder for the furnishing of sewage pumping services on an As Needed basis. Qualifications of Bidders : A. Bids will be accepted only from firms engaged on a full time basis in the sewage pumping and disposal business. Bidders must have all applicable State, Local permits and license required to fulfill this contract. B. Trucks must be equipped with a pumping hose size from four (4) inches minimum to six (6) inches in diameter. Services Required : It is requested that prospective bidders quote on sewage pumping services for the following schools located within Mobile County, Alabama: (1) Bryant/Vocational Center (2) Environmental Studies Center (3) Semmes Middle, and possibly other school sites within Mobile County as needed. Bidders will be required to pump the septic tank at each location as often as may be necessary, on a will call basis. The successful bidder will be required to uncover, remove the septic tank lid and replace the septic tank lid as part of this contract. IV Period of Contract A. The Board will contract with the successful bidder from December 1, 2023 until November 30, 2024. The Board shall retain the exclusive option to terminate the contract with a thirty (30) day written notice.
