Bidders shall be licensed in accordance with Chapter 444, HRS, relating to the licensing of contractors. The Contractor and his Subcontractor(s), if any shall comply with all applicable revisions of the prevailing wage rate schedule as required under Chapter 104, H.R.S Work Covered by Contract Documents A. The work of this Contract comprises the Kihei Community Center: HVAC Improvements project, P23-001, at TMK: (2) 2-2-024-023, Kihei, Maui, Hawaii, to include but not limited to the 1:1 replacement of 2 sets of Air Handler Units (AHU) and Air Cooled Condensing Units (ACCU). B. The Contractor is required to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, services, and transportation necessary and incidental to construction operations for the Work in accordance with the Contract Documents. The Contractor is required to provide work not indicated on the drawings or expressly required by the specifications, but which is manifestly necessary for proper, full, and faithful performance of the work in accordance with the intent and meaning of the Contract Documents. BUILDING FLOOR AREA: 16,100 SF Any questions pertaining to the process, or help in submitting a bid, can be directed to Christy Kailiehu at (808) 270-749 Mobilization is hereby defined as the preparatory work and operations, including, but not limited to the necessary movement of personnel, equipment, and incidentals to the project site; establishment of all offices, buildings, and other facilities necessary for work on the project; and work and operations which must be performed, and costs incurred before starting work on the various contract items on the project site. B. Bonds and Insurance will include all upfront costs associated with the issuance of payment and performance bonds for completion of the work and the costs for providing Insurance meeting the requirements set forth in these documents.
