Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District (Midpen or District) seeks a team led by a Civil Engineer to provide professional design and engineering services for the Prospect Road Culvert Replacement Project (Project). The Project will repair a culvert and road damaged during the winter storms of 2022/2023 at Fremont Older Open Space Preserve (Fremont Older). The winter storms of 2022/2023 resulted in damage to an existing perched culvert, which runs underneath an approximately 10-foot-wide traffic-rated, multi-use asphalt road. Materials under and around the existing 35-foot long by 48-inch diameter corrugated metal pipe culvert were washed out and approximately 10-feet of the culvert collapsed. There was also damage to a 5-foot tall by 1-foot wide by 4-foot-deep headwall with unclassified fill Question Deadline 11/02/2023 at 3:00 PM PT Questions related to this RFPQ must be submitted by the deadline provided herein via Periscope or email to aharker@openspace.org.
