Replacement of approximately 1,800-feet of 10-inch PVC culinary waterline and approximately 1,000-feet of 8 PVC culinary waterline and other appurtenances. The project also includes milling out all the asphalt on roads impacted by the project and installing a new asphalt pavement layer. Bidder agrees that the Work will be substantially complete on or before October 1, 2024, and will be completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions on or before October 16, 2024. The first payment to the Contractor shall not be issued until after March 1, 2024. Bidders shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing through U3P. Written responses will be posted on U3P. Questions received after 3:00 P.M. local time, October 26, 2023 will not be answered All bids shall be submitted online at U3P. It is the responsibility of the bidder to submit the bid before the scheduled time. Any questions concerning how to use the U3P website and how to submit a bid should be directed electronically or by calling 1-800-233-1121. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 5 percent of Bidder s maximum Bid price (determined by adding the base bid and all alternates) and in the form of a Bid bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraph 6.01 of the General Conditions.
