This project is to procure and install a new Coleman HVAC system at City s Corporation Yard. This project is to replace existing heat pump system with new HVAC system. 1. Contractor shall provide and install a new Coleman HMH Model 4-ton inverter heat pump system. The Contractor shall be a certified Coleman HVAC system installer. 2. The system shall be a Coleman heat pump unit (HMH72B481S), Coleman one piece air handler/indoor coil (JHETD60JBCS2N1), 10 kW electric heat (8HK16501006), Honeywell VisionPro 8000 programmable thermostat w/outdoor thermostat lockout sensor, refrigerant line set, easy access filter rack (to accommodate a 4" pleated filter). 3. The contractor shall also provide duct work revisions at furnace location to retrofit new air handler and coil to existing duct work, riser feet for heat pump unit, and surge protector installed at outdoor unit. 4. The contractor shall acquire all applicable permits necessary to perform the work including City mechanical and electrical permits. 5. Minimum manufacturer's warranty of five (5) years on parts and compressor, five (5) year manufacturer's warranty on thermostat, one (1) year labor warranty on system and thermostat (manufacturer's warranty based on commercial installation). 6. Contractor is responsible for removal and disposal of existing heat pump system. Project Estimate: $13,000 to $14,850 Bids less than or equal to $35,000 including tax. A performance and payment bond, and retainage will not be required for this work if the total bid amount including tax is less than or equal to $35,000. However, the City shall have the right of recovery against the Contractor for any payments made on the Contractors behalf.
