Marine Atlantic Inc. (MAI) invites offers from qualified Vendors for the Interior Renovations at 65 Memorial Drive (HR) in North Sydney, NS. The Work generally includes, but it is not necessarily limited to, the following: Demolition and Removal of existing cubicles, doors, and miscellaneous mechanical and electrical items as noted. Construction of new offices including all architectural, mechanical and electrical features as indicated on the drawings. Supply and install of new office and stairwell doors as specified. Relocation of doors to offices as indicated on the drawings. Update to existing HVAC controls system and graphical interface to show updated floor plans. Supply and install of all hoarding, temporary ventilation (negative air) etc. required to facilitate the work. Each tender shall be accompanied by an initial deposit for a sum of ten percent (10%) of the Total Amount Payable in evidence of the bona fide nature of the Tender. This deposit shall be in favour of Marine Atlantic Inc. and shall be in the form of a Bid Bond which shall guarantee to the Owner that in the event of the successful Tenderer declining to enter into a formal agreement with the Owner as called for in the Contract Documents, or declining or neglecting to provide the Performance Bond required by the Contract Documents, then the Owner will be reimbursed the additional cost of accepting another tender or ten percent (10%) of the Total Amount Payable, whichever is the lesser.
