The Town of North Wilkesboro is seeking statements of qualifications from professional firms to provide planning, engineering, landscape architecture, architectural design (plans and specifications), permitting, bidding assistance, and construction contract administration and oversight for the Smoot Park Revitalization Project. This project will include a pool, ADA-compliant pool house and restroom facility, ADA canoe launch, skatepark, enhanced landscaping, furnishings, sidewalks, parking, lighting, and associating improvements. These components are associated with a conceptual Smoot Park Master Plan (attached) developed by the Town of North Wilkesboro. The master plan recommended a four-phased implementation process. Due to public interest and state funding, the intent is to complete the remaining three phases of the Smoot Park Master Plan simultaneously. The chosen firm will be required to develop designs using that plan as a basis. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or to accept the proposal that, in the judgment of the Town, is in its best interest. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
