The Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority is looking to hire a vendor to remove snow and ice at the Hyannis Transportation Center. The CCRTA is looking for proposals based on the attached Scope of Work The term plow shall mean to clear/scrape roads, parking areas and sidewalks of snow to the following standards: o All roads and parking areas, paved and unpaved, shall be cleared to within one foot of the edges of the existing areas. o All concrete walkways shall be completely cleared of snow and ice in the areas immediately surrounding the building and passenger loading areas. o All paved areas shall be free from any loose accumulation of snow. o All unpaved areas may be cleared by leaving the plow in a slightly raised position. o All intersections/corners shall be pushed back to their fullest extremes. All questions will be answered on online by end of business October 25, 2023 A contract will be awarded for two years with options for renewal for up to three additional years. Issuance of this Request for Proposal does not commit CCRTA to award a contract or to pay any costs incurred in preparation of the proposals in response to this request. Disadvantaged Business Enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit proposals in response to this request and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex, national origin, or veteran's status in consideration for an award. CCRTA's FY23 DBE is 3.82% (CCRTA only) and .5% (CCRTA and Subrecipient combined) of federally funded contracting opportunities. Further, any contracts entered into with the proposer pursuant to this request will include provisions to assure compliance with applicable civil right regulations.
