It is company policy to only provide bid documents to the client and to Contractors who have completed an REL Prequalification Form that has been reviewed by the Project Engineer to make sure prequalification requirements are met. Sanitary Sewer Lateral Lining Pilot Project - Montrose & Lynn A bid bond or certified check/bank draft payable to the Village of Romeoville in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid must be submitted with each proposal. A performance bond in a sum equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the bid amount must be furnished by the successful bidder. No bid shall be withdrawn after the opening of the proposals without the consent of the Mayor and Board of Trustees for a period of ninety (90) days after the scheduled time of closing bids. The Contractor shall also comply with all applicable Federal, State, and local regulations. Pre-qualification will be required to be submitted to the Engineer by all potential bidders prior to receiving any bid documents. Bidder qualifications and experience will also be included in the basis for determining the lowest responsible bidder. If in the opinion of the Engineer and the Village of Romeoville, an applicant would not be able to serve the best interest of the Village, a proposal will not be issued to the applicant.
