Milwaukee County (County) requests proposals from qualified and experienced firms to develop and generate a Comprehensive Safety Action Plan for Milwaukee County and provide technical assistance and support to the participating municipalities in developing their own individual Comprehensive Safety Action Plans as specified in the Scope of Work. This is Phase Two of the Complete Communities Transportation Planning Project. Deadline to submit Questions Oct 27th 2023, 4:00 PM CDT The contract will have an initial term of two (2) years, commencing on or before January 1, 2024, with two additional one-year renewal options thereafter, subject to the availability of funding, and Milwaukee County Board approval, and upon the mutual agreement of the parties. The failure of a Proposer to notify the RFP Administrator of any such matter prior to submission of its proposal constitutes a waiver of appeal or administrative review rights based upon any such ambiguity, error, omission, or other deficiency in the RFP document. Milwaukee County reserves the right to waive minor irregularities in proposals. The Office of Economic Inclusion (OEI), a Division of the Department of Administrative Services, is responsible for monitoring and enforcing the Milwaukee County Target Enterprise Ordinance for inclusion of small or disadvantaged businesses. OEI is Milwaukee County's certifying body for Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE), Airport Concession Disadvantage Business Enterprises (ACDBE) and Small Business Enterprises (SBE). Milwaukee County has set DBE and ACDBE goals for all U.S. DOT-funded projects. The award of this RFP and any resulting Contract is conditioned upon the Propose's good faith efforts in achieving the project's DBE participation goal of 10%
