The Board of Commissioners of Crawford County, Pennsylvania, invites sealed bids from responsible prime contractors for construction of a brick wall at the existing Crawford County Courthouse. Bids will be for a single-prime construction contract on a lump-sum basis Registration is required to receive documents to receive any bid addenda. Hard copies will not be available from Stantec. Sub-bidders and material suppliers may obtain copies of bid documents through prime bidders. Bids must be accompanied by bid security in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders section of the bid documents. Bid security shall be in the amount of 10 percent of the base bid in the form of a surety bond or a certified check made payable to the Crawford County Commissioners. The contract shall require payment and performance bonds and is subject to Prevailing Wage rates issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry The owner reserves the right to limit days on which the site will be available for review Questions can be submitted via email to Mike Preston at mike.preston2@stantec.com until 2:00 PM on Tuesday, October 17, 2023. Pertinent questions will be answered by addenda. Crawford County reserves the right to reject any and all bids pursuant to the bid instructions.
