The City of Saskatoon requires contracted services for the removal and hauling of snow windrows from priority streets within school zones. Loading zones and bus drop-offs in school zones cause snow graders to pull snow for long stretches that result in larger than average snow piles and windrows around these areas. This snow requires removal on a more frequent basis than other areas of the City for the safety of students and nearby residents. The windrows in school zones are to be removed when the windrow height reaches an average of 60 cm. It is anticipated that the resulting contract will be awarded in November 2023. Question Deadline 10/17/2023 02:00:59 PM SK The term of the Agreement is to be for a period of one (1) year, with an option in favour of the City to extend the Agreement on the same terms and conditions for up to one (1) additional one-year period upon the following conditions being met: i. A pricing structure must be mutually agreed upon for the renewal periods; ii. Supplier/Contractor must have provided acceptable goods/service levels as determined solely by the City of Saskatoon; iii. the goods/services are still required; iv. the goods/services are still required to be outsourced; v. budgetary funds must be available.
