The Waynesville R-VI School District will be accepting sealed bids for the purchase and installation of a new above ground diesel fuel storage tank (AST), and/or removal of the existing underground tank (UST) at the Waynesville School District Transportation Building. Option 1: Close and remove existing underground fuel tank, equipment, and backfill location in preparation for concrete resurfacing. Pricing should include all necessary excavation and machinery cost and all closure documentation, sampling, analytical costs, and MoDNR reporting associated with tank closure and removal, as well as listing of potential additional costs for disposal of any tank wastes (fuel, water, tank bottoms). Option 2: Provide (1) new, primed and painted double-wall, steel 12,000 gallon capacity tank for above ground diesel fuel storage. Price should include all necessary parts and components, machinery, installation and freight costs, as well as any other cost required to provide a complete tank installation that may not be listed. Bidder must be able to furnish proof of approved AST Financial Responsibility Registration.
