This is a public works project subject to ORS 279C.800 to 279C.875. The applicable Prevailing Wage Rates are the Prevailing Wage Rates for Public Works Contracts in Oregon effective July 5, 2023 and the Amendment dated October 5, 2023. The work will take place in Multnomah County, Oregon. Minority-Owned, Women-Owned, Emerging Small Businesses, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises are encouraged to submit a response to this Solicitation. Deadline for Questions & Substitution Requests October 24, 2023 at 12:00 PM Answers to Questions/Clarifications/Substitution Requests On or about October 30, 2023 Contract Award On or about November 20, 2023 Substantial Completion April 10, 2024 Final Completion April 30, 2024 PROJECT DESCRIPTION 2.1. The work will include: o Tree protection o Removal of specified asphalt, concrete and gravel o Hand removal of invasive vegetative species in specified areas o The installation of stormwater management facilities o Restoration style native plantings Portland Community College's Sylvania campus is located at 12000 SW 49th Avenue in Portland, OR. There is a gravel lot, located on the westside of the campus, just below the P-1 parking lot and west of G Street. Over the years, this area has been reserved for ongoing construction projects as a location for job trailers, contractor parking and a construction staging area. In order for the College to have continued use of the lot, the city is requiring a number of improvements since portions of the area encroach into an Environmental Conservation overlay zone (e-zone). These improvements include the removal of existing impervious surfaces, construction of a vegetated stormwater facility, and proposed planting
