Description: WIN 029533.00 Location: In Oxford County, Project is located on Route 219 in Greenwood. Outline of Work: Install Slope Stabilization and other incidental work. For general information regarding Bidding and Contracting procedures, contact George Macdougall at (207) 624-3410. For Project-specific information fax all questions to Gail Her at (207) 624-3431, use electronic RFI form or email questions to RFIContracts,MDOT(q),maine.gov, project name and identification number should be in the subject line. Questions received after 12:00 noon of Monday prior to bid date will not be answered. Bidders shall not contact any other Departmental staff for clarification of Contract provisions, and the Department will not be responsible for any interpretations so obtained. TT Y users call Maine Relay 711. Each Bid must be made upon blank forms provided by the Department. If the bid is at a total price greater than $125,000, it must be accompanied by a bid bond at 5% of the bid amount or an official bank check, cashier's check, certified check, certificate of deposit, or United States postal money order in the amount of 5% of the bid amount, payable to Treasurer, State of Maine as a Bid guarantee. If the bid is accepted and the total price is greater than $125,000, a Contract Performance Surety Bond and a Contract Payment Surety Bond, each in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract price, will be required of the successful Bidder. This Contract is subject to all applicable Federal and State Laws. This contract is subject to compliance with the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise program requirements as set forth by the Maine Department of Transportation.
