This project consists of permanent repairs and restoration to County infrastructure due to Hurricane Ian at the outfall on the North side of David Boulevard going into the Latham Waterway located at 5149 Norlander Drive in the Gulf Cove area of Port Charlotte. The 30' County drainage easement going into the triple barrel road crossing pipe under David Boulevard to the Latham Canal has erosion and needs clearing and grubbing, dewatered filled with embankment graded with slopes at a 4:1 slope with rip rap at end of outfall and sodded. All ROW and easement area to be cleaned and reconstructed back to the original condition or as directed herein. All work must meet current standards. During construction, all debris within the project limits shall be removed from the site and disposed of in a legal manner. This project location shall be completed within 15 calendar days from its start date. It is the intent of Charlotte County to secure the services of a licensed Contractor for the repairs and restoration to County Infrastructure due to Hurricane Ian. The project may include, but is not limited to, sidewalks, major drainage improvements, Charlotte County Utility repairs and/or improvements, right-of-way restoration, roadway, and bridge reconstruction. No Local license(s) is required to perform the services for this project: FDOT Certification is required.
