3.90 mi of road reconstruction including signing, pavement markings, ITS, lighting, trail, and bridge rehabilitation on 17 structures including deck replacement, deck patching, epoxy overlay, railing patching, deck joint repairs, resealing, substructure patching, slope protection repairs, rocker repairs, steel repairs, partial painting, concrete surface coating and approach work on M-14 from Sheldon Road to Newburgh Road in the city of Livonia, Wayne County. This project includes a 5 year epoxy performance warranty and a 2 year concrete surface coating warranty. This project is an Alternate Pavement Bid project and allows the option for an alternate roadway base material. Alternate 1 (Section 2) is an HMA Alternative and includes a 5 year materials and workmanship pavement warranty. Alternate 2 (Section 3) is a Concrete Alternative and includes a 5 year materials and workmanship pavement warranty. Alternate 3 (Section 4) is Roadway Base Option 1. Alternate 4 (Section 5) is Roadway Base Option 2.
