The project location is 821 E. South St. Orland, CA 95963. Glenn County intends to award a construction contract which includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, transportation and services necessary for the completion of the project. A summary of the work is included below: Work of the Contract can be summarized as follows: Provide all labor, equipment and materials to remove and install a new roof system over a properly prepared substrate at 821 E. South St. Orland, CA 95963. Contractor will tear off existing roof, remove heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) units and the structures they are currently installed on, locate and repair/replace all areas of damaged substrate, install coverboard, 2-ply modified bitumen roofing system, installation of HPR Aqua Shield underlayment, installation of Composition Shingles, use Title 24 compliant roof coating and re-install HVAC units on current structures. Specific details included in the bid package shall further define the description of work. The alternate scope of work can be summarized as follows: Provide all labor, equipment and materials to remove and install a new roof system over a properly prepared substrate at 821 E. South St. Orland, CA 95963. Contractor will tear off existing roof, remove heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) units and the structures they are currently installed on, locate and repair/replace all areas of damaged substrate, install coverboard, Duro-Last PVC thermoplastic membrane with fleece, use Title 24 compliant membrane and re-install HVAC units on current structures. The Owner reserves the right to reject any bid, or all bids, or to accept any bid or bids, or to make such combination of bids as may seem desirable, and to waive any and all informalities in bidding. Any bid may be withdrawn prior to the above scheduled time for the opening of bids or authorized postponement thereof.
