Renovate the City Hall Lobby, Treasurer and Commissioner of Revenue areas located at 605 East Main Street, Charlottesville, VA 22902 The Contractor is to provide all supervision, equipment, labor, and materials necessary to successfully complete the Work as described herein. Work primarily includes demolition, wall construction, architectural woodwork, acoustical ceilings, ceramic tile flooring, carpet tiles, doors, windows, HVAC modifications, electrical, lighting, joint sealants, and painting. Contractor Requirements: Prior to award of contract and commencing with the work, the contractor is to submit all required insurance and bonds in accordance with the City of Charlottesville requirements. Within ten (10) calendar days after execution of this Construction Contract, the contractor is to submit: The Construction Schedule. A Personnel Chart which lists by name, job category and responsibility the General Contractor's primary employees who will work on the Project. The General Contractor's Subcontractors and Suppliers, listing by name and general Project responsibility each subcontractor and supplier who will be utilized by the General Contractor to provide goods or services with respect to the Project; and, Compensation Schedule, to include a Schedule of Values for payment of the Contract Price on a lump sum basis. Within fifteen (15) calendar days after execution of this Construction Contract, the contractor is to submit a submittal schedule. The contractor shall secure and pay for all necessary bonds, permits, fees, tests and inspections. Contract Award: November 15, 2023 Work to Commence on Site: December 13, 2023 Substantial Completion: March 29, 2024 Final Completion: April 12, 2024 No inquiries received by the Purchasing Agent or Issuing Authority within five (5) working days of the date set for the opening of bids, will be given any consideration. Each bid in excess of $200,000 submitted in response to this IFB shall be accompanied by a bid bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) The General Contractor shall be required to provide payment and performance bonds in the full amount of the Contract Nothing in this Article shall preclude the General Contractor from requiring each subcontractor to furnish a payment bond with surety thereon in the sum of the full amount of the subcontract
