Estimated Construction Cost: Between $100,000 and $500,000. The Contractor is to use the design-build procurement process to design, permit and install a new fire alarm system at Ptarmigan Elementary School. The project requires professional design services, labor, material, and supervision to complete construction for the scope of work described in the documents. Ptarmigan Elementary School is a 59,275 square foot educational facility located at 888 Edward Street, Anchorage Alaska. The scope of work is to provide a new fire alarm system that meets Federal, State, and MOA code requirements and amendments to codes. Estimated Construction Cost: Between $100,000 and $500,000 A bid bond in the amount of five (5%) percent of the total amount of the base bid will be required (cash, personal or business checks are unacceptable). The successful Contractor shall be required to furnish 100 percent performance and payment bonds. Substantial Completion dates for this project are December 5, 2023 and July 17, 2024. The Anchorage School District reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, and to waive any informalities or irregularities in bidding procedures. The proposer shall include on the proposal form its federal tax identification number and its current business and Contractors license numbers issued by the State of Alaska authorizing the proposer to operate as a business and to perform construction services as a Specialty or General Contractor. The proposer shall provide a copy of its current State of Alaska Business License and Specialty or General Contractor License. The District may reject any proposal that does not comply with all of the material and substantial terms, conditions, and performance requirements of this RFP and any proposal which contains information or material which cannot be verified or otherwise confirmed for purposes of determining responsiveness to the solicitation *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
