Wexford County Road Commission (WCRC) is requesting engineering services for a project that will result in the replacement of the Brandy Brook water control structure located at County Road 31 in Wexford County, Michigan. The scope of the services will include surveying, feasibility study and project design Consultants shall be experienced in MDOT road design/ stream crossing replacement. Submittal shall be limited to 1-2 pages of description of how the company can best provide services for Wexford County Road Commission, then resumes of the Inspectors/ office technician shall be included along with a list of each of their certifications as well as a list of the companies MDOT prequalification's for construction services. The Consultant will be selected using a quality-based selection process. The selection team will review the information submitted and will select the firm considered most qualified to perform the services based on the proposals. The selected vendor will be contacted to confirm capacity. Upon confirmation, Negotiations will be conducted with the firm selected. The Wexford County Road Commission, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, Sub Title A, Office the Secretary, Part 21, Nondiscrimination in Federally assisted programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contact entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of crace, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
