The proposed Los Monteros Drive Recycled Watermain Replacement Project includes the remove and replace approximately 1,300 linear feet of 6-inch ACP with new 6-inch C900 PVC pressure pipe, install trenchless pipe liner system on approximately 340 feet of existing 6-inch ACP, connect new pipelines to existing pipelines, perform pavement removal and replacement, and pavement grind and overlay. Questions and requests for substitution pertaining to this project must be submitted to the District electronically via the Planet Bids electronic bidding system on or before 5:00 p.m. on October 9, 2023. License Requirements A Bid Bond 10.00% Payment Bond 100.00% Performance Bond 100.00% Liquidated Damages $1000/day Contractor shall complete the Work in accordance with the Contract Documents and by the completion date set within the Contract Documents at the Contract Price fixed in the Contract. Contractor at Contractor's sole cost and expense shall perform all labor and services and furnish all the materials, tools, and appliances necessary or proper for performing and completing the Work in accordance with the Contract Documents. All the labor, services and materials shall be performed and furnished strictly pursuant to, and in conformity with the Contract Documents, and the directions of the ENGINEER as given from time to time during the progress of the work under the terms of the Contract, and also in accordance with the Contract Documents and the submittals to be furnished from time to time as provided herein. 5.2 INTERPRETATION OF CONTRACT DOCUMENTS. Should it appear to Contractor that the Work to be performed or that the Contract Documents are not sufficiently detailed or explained, or should any questions or doubts arise as to the true meaning of any part of the Contract Documents, or shall an error, conflict, ambiguity or mistake be apparent or discovered in the Contract Documents, including the quantity estimates, the Contractor shall make a written request to the District immediately or no later than five (5) days upon discovery of need for correction, clarification or interpretation of the point(s) in question. Upon receipt of such request, the ENGINEER shall provide the Contractor a written interpretation correcting, clarifying or interpreting the point(s) in question, which interpretation shall be final and become a part of the Contract Project Duration 120 working days
