The Authority seeks qualified respondents who have experience in developing and implementing a comprehensive, performance-based Energy Management Programs The consultant's combination of experience, past performance, and depth of expertise will be pivotal in leading and developing the Authority's Energy Management Plan by identifying opportunities and technologies that would produce tangible energy savings, and develop actionable plans and programs that advances energy independency and resiliency for the RDU Airport and its business and community partners. The Authority is seeking qualification statements from consultants that have experience in developing energy management plans for transportation (ie. airport) hubs, higher education campuses and other comparable institutions with multiple facilities and utility infrastructures. The Airport Master Plan (Vision 2040) (Exhibit A), and the RDU Sustainability Management Plan ("SMP"), (Exhibit B) provide insight into the planned growth of the airport and its focus on exploring investments in technologies that will support sustainable and resilient growth while maximizing energy asset utilization and lowering peak energy demand. The objective of the EMP for the Authority is to develop a holistic planning framework and strategy with specific actionable projects and/or tasks.
