The work consists of providing the necessary labor, materials, equipment and supervision, to construct Scotts Bend Lift Station No. 1 including but not limited to, mobilization, bonds and insurance; construction of a ten-foot (10') diameter pre-cast wet well with 100% solids epoxy coating, complete with two (2) submersible pumps, riser piping, valves, and coatings; site work; site grading; concrete pavement; on-site sanitary sewer piping including well pointing and dewatering as necessary; on-site sanitary sewer manhole; on-site force main; potable water line and backflow preventer; fencing and gates; diesel engine driven generator, sound attenuated enclosure, and concrete foundation; automatic transfer switch; manual transfer switch and generator receptacle; load bank testing; lift station control panel, sunshade canopy, and control panel foundation; automatic telephone dialer; electrical service disconnect switches; conduit; wire; trench safety system; rental and installation of a temporary trailer mounted portable generator; storm water pollution prevention plan implementation, maintenance, and record keeping; construction staking; electrical service; and all else as specified and shown on the construction documents and not specifically addressed in separate bid items, complete, in place for a fully functioning lift station. The project is located in Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 213-A. Scotts Bend Lift Station No. 1 will be located on the west side of North Main Street approximately 0.63 miles northwest of the intersection of North Main and East Wallisville Road in Harris County, Texas. Each bid must be accompanied by either a two percent (2%) certified or cashier's check or a five percent (5%) bid bond of the maximum total bid amount. Make the cashier's check or bid bonds payable to the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any or all irregularities.
