The project is expected to be awarded within the next two weeks** The city of east orange, the township of hillside, the township of irvington, the township of maplewood, the township of millburn, the city of newark, the borough of roselle park, the township of south orange village, the city of summit, the township of union, and the township of west orange, municipal corporations of the state of new jersey, organized in joint meeting under the provisions of an act entitled "An act to authorize two or more municipalities in the state to jointly construct and maintain outlet or trunk sewers", approved march 15, 1899, and the supplements and amendments thereto, and codified as n.J.S.A. 40:63-68 to 138, hereinafter referred to as the "Joint meeting". The Bidders Proposal (in Section C) must be submitted at the time of bid along with those additional documents required by the Contract Documents to be submitted at the time of bid (as identified on the Bidder's Checklist). Question Deadline 11/29/2023 at 4:00 PM ET The Contract generally consists of the installation of two (2) 975 kW Engine Generator sets; installation of two (2) complete exhaust systems including a heat exchanger and pressure relief; installation of two (2) jacket water systems including hot water supply and return (HWS&R) pumps, heat exchangers, radiators, after coolers and related piping, isolation valves, and mixing valves; installation of interconnection medium voltage wiring from the Engine-Generator sets to existing switchgear, motor control centers, and related controls; installation of natural and digester gas piping, valves, and meters; upgrade of control and monitoring programs; provision of engine control modules to match existing; and medium voltage connection to the Co-Generation grid including installation of wiring and the construction of the Sludge Dewatering Facility Substation; and all other associated work as more particularly indicated, shown, or described in the Contract Documents.
