THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE Temporary Shoring in the Crawl Space Building One (1) at the Bay Pines VAMC: Project 516-23-604; SOLICITATION # 36C24824R0019. UNRESTRICTED, OPEN TO ALL BUSINESS TYPES This solicitation is being issued as an unrestricted, open to all business types. The NAICS code for this procurement is 2389902, with a small business size standard of $19M. The VAAR 836.204 magnitude of this project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. This is a pre-solicitation notice only. No contract shall be awarded from this pre-solicitation notice. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 08 (NCO 08) Temporary Shoring in the Crawl Space Building One (1), Project 516-23-604, RFP # 36C24824R0019. located at the C.W. Bill Young Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Bay Pines (BPVAMC): The specialized contract shall focus on the temporary shoring for approximately 3,000 SF divided into four (4) defined areas at the Crawl Space and Basement of Building 1, which has been identified as a critical condition on the assessment undergone for the structure prepared by the company JS Held LLC, dated 10/14/2022. The critical areas are shown in Appendix B of the assessment report described on pages 9 to 13 (see attachment), (See Attached SOW and documents). This project period of performance is 92 calendar days. The temporary shoring is expected to be required for approximately 18 months. See Post-Installation Services in V. Before and During the Construction Period. The anticipated posting date of the solicitation on SAM.gov will be on or about October 25, 2023. Contractors must be registered in SAM.gov before contract award, during the contract period of performance, and remain registered through the final invoice payment. The request for proposal (RFP) with SPECs and further details will be published after the closing of the synopsis. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which the agency shall consider. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
