Orland Fire Protection District Invitation to Bid on Improvements to Firefighting Burn Building the Orland Fire Protection District is Requesting Bids for Improvements to Firefighting Burn Building. The President and Board of Trustees Reserve the Right to Reject Any and All Bids or Parts Thereof and to Waive Any Informalities, Technicalities and Irregularities in Proposing and to Disregard All Non-conforming, Conditional or Counter Bids. Bidders Must Comply With All Provisions of State of Illinois and Federal Laws Concerning Public Works Projects Including but Not Limited to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, the State of Illinois Human Rights Act and the Regulations of the Illinois Human Rights Commission. By Order of the President and Board of Trustees of the Orland Fire Protection District, Cook County, Illinois. The Orland Fire Protection District is requesting bids for improvements to their firefighting bum building to that will allow the use of the prop for live fire training. Included in this project will be the fabrication and installation of %" 2x2 tubing, !4" steel plate, and 1/8" plate on all for sides of (4) 20' shipping containers. Also included in this project is the fabrication and installation of(4) bum boxes to contain the fire load in each of the bum containers. Qualified bidders shall provide all necessary materials and equipment to complete the work onsite.
