Project Description: The Health Professions Building at Utah Valley University will be a purpose-built building, with adequately-sized classrooms and labs, cutting-edge technology and state-of-the-art equipment to support teaching and learning in the current and future Health Professions programs. Such a facility will bring together all health technology students and faculty under one roof, thus encouraging interaction, and providing greater opportunities for student-to-student mentoring and interdisciplinary collaboration. This building will increase visibility, efficiency of operations and storage for Allied Health programs, and will strengthen these programs abilities to attract and retain students and faculty. This building will be a model for the health care community The selection shall be under the Value Based Selection method. The Solicitation for Programming and A/E Services documents, including the submittal requirements and the selection criteria and schedule, will be available at 3:00 PM on Monday, October 2, 2023 on the Utah Public Procurement Place (U3P) website and can also be accessed via the DFCM website - Electronic Bidding. The initial contract award will be for programming only. After satisfactory completion of the programming, DFCM may award design services to the programming consultant. Submittal dates for the required references, management plans, statements of qualifications, and interviews will be based on the Project Schedule included in the Solicitation for Programming and A/E Services. The Division of Facilities Construction and Management reserves the right to reject any or all submittals or to waive any formality or technicality in any submittal in the interest of the State.
