Reference Number 0000331834 The Work generally consists of Construction of a continuous through lane from the northbound I-25 exit ramp, east to Inverness Drive East. Portions of this lane exist today and will require striping and traffic signal modification. However, certain links will require the construction of an additional lane, relocation of the existing sidewalk, and the construction of retaining walls. Work will also include replacing the traffic signal at Inverness Drive West and Dry Creek Road. Multiple utility relocations will need to be coordinated as part of the Work. The Project is identified as a federally funded project. This project has a 15% DBE and 500 hours of on-the-job training requirement. Question Acceptance Deadline 10/17/2023 at 2:00 PM MT Questions are submitted online Yes General Requirements - Bid Deposit Required - Federally Funded - Insurance Required Each bid shall be made on the Form of Bid provided in the Contract Documents, and no Bidder may withdraw his/her bid for a period of sixty (60) days from the date set for opening of bids. Each Bid must be accompanied, in a sealed envelope separate from the one containing the Bid, by a bid bond on an approved form in the amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the Bid price, The successful Bidder will be required to furnish, as part of the Contract Documents, an insurance certificate in the amount specified in the Standard Special Provisions, a Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Payment Bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of its Contract Amount, said bonds 8 to be issued by a responsible corporate surety approved by the County and shall guarantee the faithful performance of the Contract and the terms and conditions therein contained and shall guarantee the prompt payment of all materials and labor, and protect and save harmless the County from claims and damages of any kind caused by the operations of the Contractor *Arapahoe County reserves the right to reject any and all or part of any and all Bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities therein.
