The City of East St. Louis ("The City") is soliciting proposals for the Replacement of Sanitary Sewers on 80th Street in the City of East St. Louis, as more fully set out in the Scope of Work section of the Request for Proposals ("RFP"). The city will evaluate RFPs and make a selection based on the firm's technical ability, experience, and ability to perform the work. The City will not provide compensation or defray any costs incurred by any firm related to the response to this request. The City reserves the right to negotiate with any and all persons or firms. The City also reserves the right to reject any or all RFPs, or to accept any deemed most advantageous to the City, or to waive any irregularities or informalities in the RFPs received, and to revise the process schedule as circumstances arise. Latest Time to Submit Request for Interpretation October11, 2023 Latest Time to Issue An Addendum October 12, 2023 Scope of Work: Be advised that the authorities of the City of East St. Louis, Illinois have determined that the tree is pushing up the pavement and the upper branches are leaning over the roadway is unsafe and dangerous to the life, health, property and safety of the public and constitutes an immediate and continuing hazard for the City of East St. Louis and its citizens in violation of East St. Louis Municipal Codes. Tree Removal shall follow the requirement of the Illinois Standard Specification for Road and Bridge Construction, latest edition. By making a proposal on the Project, the Bidder represents that the Bidder has examined the Scope of Work within the Contract Documents.
