Project: Theis Park Improvements Phase I Proposed Improvement: Phase I of the Theis Park Improvements shall include the necessary grading, underground utility installation, and erosion control measures for the future park improvements to be made next year. Bidders Instructions: Only qualified Contractors will be allowed to receive Plans and bid on this project. A Statement of Experience may be requested in order to receive the Bid Documents. The Village of Manteno reserves the right to only issue Bid Documents to Contractors who are regarded as qualified. All proposals must be accompanied by a proposal guaranty as provided in BLRS Special Provision for Bidding Requirements and Conditions for Contract Proposals contained in the Supplemental Specifications and Recurring Special Provisions. The Awarding Authority reserves the right to waive technicalities and to reject any or all proposals as provided in BLRS Special Provision for Bidding Requirements and Conditions for Contract Proposals contained in the Supplemental Specifications and Recurring Special Provisions. The Village of Manteno may disqualify a bidder for outstanding debts to the Village. Submission of a bid shall be conclusive assurance and warranty the bidder has examined the plans and understands all requirements for the performance of work. The bidder will be responsible for all errors in the proposal resulting from failure or neglect to conduct an in-depth examination. The Awarding Authority will, in no case be responsible for any costs, expenses, losses or changes in anticipated profits resulting from such failure or neglect of the bidder.
