The Kingsbrook Lifecare Center Flooring Remodel will be managed by UK King's Daughters Medical Center Facilities Construction Manager and/or Kingsbrook Lifecare Center Facilities Director. The project is generally described as: o Moving of any furniture/equipment as necessary and returning to original position upon completion of project o The demolition and disposal of existing obsolete flooring o Proper preparation of substrate before installing new flooring o Proper installation of the following materials: Carpet Tile, Walk-Off Carpet Tile and Transition Strips, including manufacturers, styles, colors and patterns as indicated in the Specifications o Existing wooden baseboards to remain, protect during construction. Liquidated Damages shall be assessed in the amount of $500.00 per calendar day the project fails to reach Final Completion. Payments for Plans, Specifications and Official Bid Documents must be made to Lynn Imaging before a set of documents will be issued. Anyone wishing to discuss specific items is requested to submit the items in writing to Supply Chain Operations, no later than 10/20/2023 at 3:00 PM Ashland, KY Time. Written questions can be submitted by email to Kimberly McGuire at Kimberly.mcguire@kdmc.kdhs.us. Responses to Written Questions received no later than 10/20/2023 will be provided in an addendum issued on or about 10/23/2023. UK King's Daughters Medical Center, Department of Supply Chain Operations, reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive all formalities and/or technicalities where the best interest of the Medical Center may be served.
