The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) is soliciting for Catch Basin Repair and Replacement on Mathis Road in Rock Hill. Per the specifications herein. This solicitation is exempt pursuant to 11-35-710 (1) ACQUIRE SERVICES The purpose of this solicitation is to acquire services complying with the enclosed description and/or specifications and conditions. MAXIMUM CONTRACT PERIOD - ESTIMATED Start date: 11/02/2023 End date: 11/01/2024. Dates provided are estimates only. Any resulting contract will begin on the date specified in the notice of award. See clause entitled "Term of Contract - Effective Date/Initial Contract Period". The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) is soliciting for catch basin replacement and repairs on Mathis Road, Rock Hill. Per the specifications herein. This project will consist of the following: Pour 2-36" Concrete bases with rebar for each catch basin Build 2 catch basins from 4"x8"x16" brick. One (1) catch basin attaching to outlet of existing crossline going under Mathis Road. The other catch basin roughly ninety (90) feet west of first catch basin. Both box tops will have 18" eccentric cones with cast iron frame and cover. Installing roughly 90' of 18" RCP between the two (2) newly installed catch basins. Both boxes need to tie flush to existing ground elevation. Install roughly 24' of 18" RCP at western catch basin facing outlet toward the property line. Ditch roughly 20' towards natural ditch swell Place rip rap at outlet end of newly placed pipe Expose existing outlet side of crossline pipe Cost to include all ditching, backfill, grading, seeding, mobilization and traffic control. The State assumes no responsibility for any conclusions or interpretations made by the Contractor based on the information made available at the conference. Nor does the State assume responsibility for any understanding reached or representation made concerning conditions which can affect the work by any of its officers or agents before the execution of this contract, unless that understanding or representation is expressly stated in this contract.
