Questions & Substitutions Due: Friday October 13, 2023 by 3:00 p.m The scope of the work includes but is not limited to: Bleacher Replacement: The project includes the removal and replacement of (3) bays of bleachers in the existing high school gymnasium. The bleacher requirements for each bank are outlined below. The clear width is ~83'-4" at all (3) bays. Bank 01: 10 Row, Friction Power Floor Attached, 444 Seats. "CHS" Shadow Lettering. Bank 02: 9 Row, Friction Power Floor Attached, 400 Seats. "CHS" Shadow Lettering. Bank 03: 15 Row, Friction Power Reverse Fold, 640 Seats. The Board of Education of the Cheboygan Area Schools is accepting firm, sealed bids for a bleacher replacement at the Cheboygan Area High School. No bids may be withdrawn for at least 60 days after the bids are opened. Per MCL 380.1267, all bids must be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship that exists between the owner or any employee of the bidder and any member of the Cheboygan Area Schools Board of Education or the Superintendent of Cheboygan Area Schools. No bid shall be accepted that does not include this sworn and notarized disclosure statement. In compliance with the Iran Economic Sanctions Act, MCL 129.311, et seq., all bids must be accompanied by a sworn and notarized Affidavit of Compliance. No bid shall be accepted that does not include this sworn and notarized statement. All bids must include a Bid Security for 5% of the bid amount payable to Cheboygan Area Schools, in either the form of a certified bank check or bid bond. Cheboygan Area Schools reserves the right to reject any and all bids, either in whole or in part; is not obligated to accept the lowest or any other bid; may waive any informality, irregularity, and/or errors in bids; and in general, to make awards in any manner deemed to be in the best interests of the owner.
