Reference Number 0000256992 Question Acceptance Deadline Questions are submitted online No 2023/10/16 02:00:00 PM EDT This package includes the supply and installation of all secondary duct banks between manholes and switches, switches and transformers and the transformers to the buildings, 3 medium voltage generators (4MVA-4160V), 2 diesel storage tanks, exterior transformers and switches, all electrical work associated with the Central Electricity Plan (CEP) and coordination with Hydro Ottawa. The Dwyer Hill Training Centre (DHTC) was acquired by DND in 1992 to serve a unit of the Canadian Special Operations Forces Command (CANSOFCOM). CANSOFCOM is a high- readiness organization, able to deploy special operations forces on short notice to protect Canadians from threats at home and abroad. The mandate and size of CANSOFCOM and its subordinate units has grown significantly over the years, and while projects have been completed at DHTC to support growth in personnel as well as new equipment and capabilities, the infrastructure at the site is undersized, in varying states of disrepair or is no longer suited to the current use. The new construction project site is divided legally into three parcels which are located east of Dwyer Hill Road and separated by Franktown Road. The two north parcels have an approximate area of 46 hectares, while the south parcel is primarily undeveloped and consists of approximately 37 hectares. This package includes the supply and installation of all secondary duct banks between manholes and switches, switches and transformers and the transformers to the buildings, 3 medium voltage generators (4MVA-4160V), 2 diesel storage tanks, exterior transformers and switches, all electrical work associated with the Central Electricity Plant (CEP) and coordination with Hydro Ottawa. Bonding capacity for the project is set at $35,000,000.00. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform. Value represents entire project.
