The work provided for in these Specifications shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, appliances, and equipment, and performing all work and operations in connection with the construction of items and all other incidental and related work as set forth in these Specifications and as directed by the Engineer to make a complete and finished job Water Works Park is a ~4 acre park located in Mission, Kansas and is owned by Water One as a pump station facility. Water One leased the land to the City of Mission in 1982 for public recreational use. Water Works Park has always related to Rushton Elementary as it acts as a main thoroughfare for children in the surrounding neighborhoods to get to school. The project is being carried out concurrently with Rushton Elementary Schools rebuild construction timeline. Water One, the school, and the City have been involved in the design process with Stantec leading the project. Design improvements to renovate the existing site will boost safety, function, aesthetics, and inclusivity. Water Works Park will add multiple new amenities for the community as well as enhance existing amenities beloved by neighboring residents
