The Grants Pass School District Requests Bids from experienced Contractors for the construction of site improvements and placement of modular classroom additions at the new Grants Pass Flexible Learning Experience (GPFLEX) Campus, to be built adjacent to the Grants Pass High School in Grants Pass Oregon. The overall project consists of the addition of four pre-manufactured modular classrooms/administration space at the new GPLEX Campus located next to the Grants Pass High School. It includes coordination with the modular building supplier for placement and associated site/utility/foundation work. The project includes all labor, materials, and equipment necessary, unless specifically excluded. The following deadlines and restrictions are applicable to the project: The work is scheduled to start in on November 6, 2023 and Contracts must meet a Substantial Completion date of January 8, 2024. All bids must be submitted on the bid forms furnished to the prospective bidders. Each bid must be accompanied by an unconditional cashiers check, certified check, or surety bond of the bidder in the amount of ten percent (10%) of bid values received. Unsuccessful bidders will have their security refunded to them when the contract has been awarded. Any objections to or comments upon the bid specifications must be submitted in writing to the attention of Tommy Blanchard, Operations Manager, at 725 NE Dean Dr. Grants Pass, OR 97526 or by email at tmblanchard@grantspass.k12.or.us. To be considered, such objections or comments must be received at least SEVEN (7) working days before the bid closing date. This contract is for a public work subject to ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870 (the Oregon Prevailing Wage Rate Law). BOLI wage rates will be applicable to this project. No bid for a construction contract shall be received or considered by the public contracting agency unless the bidder is licensed by the Construction Contractors Board of the State of Oregon as required by ORS 701.035 and 701.055. Each bid must identify whether the bidder is an Oregon resident bidder, as defined in ORS 279A.120. Bidder's attention is directed to compliance with ORS 279C.370 regarding submission of the First-Tier Subcontractor Disclosure Form. If the contract amount exceeds $100,000.00, the First-Tier Subcontractor Disclosure Form will be required and may be submitted either with the bid or within two (2) hours after the bid closing time and date at the bid site address. Failure to provide the First-Tier Subcontractor Disclosure Form may result in bid rejection. The Grants Pass School District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive formalities, and to postpone the award of the contract for thirty (30) days. All bids and all prices quoted in bids shall be firm for a period of thirty (30) days after the bid closing date.
