The City of Chino Hills is soliciting proposal from qualified and experienced engineering firms specializing in water engineering to perform professional engineering design services for the Citys English Road Recycled Water Line Project. The City of Chino Hills is in search of expanding its existing recycled water line infrastructure to provide an environmentally preferred water source for irrigation and help reduce domestic water usage. This project would allow areas with large consumptions of water (i.e., English Springs Park and Country Springs Elementary School) to utilize this for their irrigation. Also, along English Road and English Place there ae multiple residents that use a large consumption of water for their irrigation and horses. The successful vendor will be awarded a contract for a five-year period. The proposal must clearly demonstrate how your organization (preferably with a team specializing in water engineering) would best satisfy the requirements of the City. This written Request for Proposal (RFP) states the scope of the Citys requirements and specifies the general rules for preparing the proposal. The City may cancel this solicitation at any time. All proposals shall comply with current-federal, state, and other laws relative thereto. The City is not liable for any costs incurred by the Proposer before entering into a formal contract. Costs for developing the proposal or any other such expenses incurred by the Proposer in responding to the RFP, are entirely the responsibility of the Proposer, and shall not be reimbursed in any manner by the City. No reimbursable cost may be incurred in anticipation of award. Proposals must be for the entire scope of services outlined in this Request for Proposal (RFP). Incomplete proposals will not be considered.
