a. The University of Ontario Institution of Technology (herein "Ontario Tech") is accepting proposals to complete the change out of the existing lighting and controls within two of the large lecture halls in our Business and Information Technology Building (UB). b. The Proponent will supply all light fixtures, cabling and conduit work required to complete the install. c. The Proponent will be required to review the existing lighting fixtures complete with light level output reviews onsite in order to select suitable replacements. d. Currently, the lighting control system is a Strand centralized system with podium interfaces and entrance wall stations. e. All dimming and controls are currently line voltage phase dimming but will be converted to a distributed low voltage 0-10v dimming system, by Enlighted. f. All Sensors, controls, and interfaces will be provided by Ontario Tech. g. UB will remain active which means the work must adhere to the sequence of activities Install dates are to be scheduled around classroom availability and Ontario Tech will provide available install dates once the summer student registration is finalized. For the purpose of this RFP, the Proponent should maintain the following tentative timelines: a. UB 2050 i. Project Commencement: December 20, 2023 ii. Substantial Completion: January 1, 2024 b. UB 2080 i. Project Commencement: July 1, 2024 ii.
