The proposed work is officially known as the St. Rose Road Sidewalk and Ditch Improvements, Village to Park - St. Rose, IL and is further described as follows: Furnish and install all materials, labor, and equipment necessary to: excavate and prepare subgrade, install approximately 2,815 lineal feet of storm sewer with inlets and backfill, 8,023 square feet of 6' wide sidewalk, 329 square yards of concrete pavement and aggregate base. 3. The bid will be awarded on Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2023, and the notice to proceed will be issued on or before Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2023. Work shall be completed between the notice to proceed and time to be agreed upon with owner at time of contract. Payments shall be made monthly in accordance with the percentage complete of the Work line items within the proposal. All proposals must be accompanied by a bid bond, bank cashier's check, bank draft, or certified check for not less than five (5) percent of the amount of the bid, or as provided in Article 102.01 of the IDOT "Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction," adopted Jan. 1, 2022. 6. Rejection of Bids. The owner(s) reserves the right to waive technicalities or to reject any or all proposals as provided in Article 102.01 7. The Contractor to whom an award shall be made pursuant to this Bid Opening shall be subject to all applicable Federal and State laws and regulations including, but not limited to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act.
