The Northeast Georgia Housing Authority serving Clarkesville, Cleveland, Cornelia, Demorest, Helen, Homer, and Toccoa, Georgia is requesting bids for interior painting (only) of apartments that are located in multiple locations in each of these cities or towns. All of the units will be vacant. Separate contracts may be awarded to several of the lower cost responsible bidders for the lowest bid amount and the Maintenance Manager at his/her sole discretion shall make the actual assignments and work orders during the contract year. The total number of units to be painted will vary, but the number could be up to three hundred (300) per year. The painting contract will be for three (3) years. Please give a unit price for each bedroom size, plus a second coat unit price for walls and ceilings. The housing authority will also consider bids for the painting of exterior railings and posts. Most of the units will be one, two or three bedrooms with one bath. The housing authority will supply the paint and primer. Insurance requirements are as follows: 1.$300,000 - General Liability 2.Automobile Liability Insurance Coverage at least $100,000 3.Workers' Compensation - As required by State of Georgia If you have any questions or if you would like to look at typical units for bidding purposes, please contact the Maintenance Department at (706) 886-7326.
