Tours can be set-up directly with Demetrio Duarte, City of Alice Water Utlities Diretor at Demetrio.Duarte@cityofalice.org The work to be performed under the provisions of this project shall consist of furnishing all materials, equipment, incidentals, labor, installation, finishing, and services needed to implement the operation of Well #1. The Contractor shall coordinate project activities with the Owner and Engineer. Utilizing the constant speed RVSS starter and the temporary electrical service, water will have to be delivered to the RO WTP by Feb. 15, 2024. It shall be the contractor's responsibility to "fast track" the submittals for the C.T. metering equipment, the manual transfer switch, the RVSS starter, conduit, wiring, and the electrical building materials in order to meet the Feb. 15, 2024 delivery date. The permanent electrical service including VFD, Mirus Filter, conduit and wiring shall be installed and operational by July 15, 2024. It shall be the contractor's responsibility to "fast track" the submittals for the Variable-Frequency-Drive, Mirus Filter, and other electrical incidental in order to meet the July 15, 2024 delivery date. The scope of work includes but is not limited to the following: A. Electrical and all associated electrical components including: 1. Coordination with the serving power company as to location and sizing of a pad mounted transformer to provide a 277/480V, 3-phase, 4-wire underground (U/G) service to the Well #1 site. 2. Electrical Control Building with interior & exterior lighting 3. CT Metering per power company requirements 4. Low earth resistance grounding/bonding system 5. Surge Protective Devices 6. Reduced Voltage Solid-state Starter (RVSS) with service rated Main Circuit Breaker 7. Diesel Generator with key-interlocked line circuit breaker, WP housing, fuel tank, & access structure 8. Main Switch Board (MSB) with key-interlocked main circuit breaker & electronic power monitor 9. Lighting Transformer 10. Lighting Panel 11. Redundant Split System heat-pump HVAC system 12. Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) for Well #1 motor 13. Input Harmonic Filter (HF) for the VFD 14. Output Sine-wave Filter (SWF) for the VFD 15. Manual Transfer Switch (MTS) - VFD/RVSS 16. Feeder, emergency, branch circuit, control, instrumentation, and SCADA systems conduit & wiring 17. Discharge Pressure Indicating Transmitter 18. Coordination with RO WTP contractor for implementation of the SCADA system to accommodate Well #1 operation 19. U/G Conduit and Fiber Optic cable between Well #1 and the RO WTP B. Civil works including dirt work, culvert, fencing, CMU block, and concrete slab work. C. Yard Piping including excavation for lines. D. Other necessary incidentals for a complete operational system.
